The grave of Pharao Siptah is located in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt.

Overview

Siptah was the 7th Pharaoh of the 19th Dynasty and his reign lasted from 1197 to 1191 BC. His grave is located in the Tomb KV47, located in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt, however, his mummy was not found in the Tomb KV 47 but discovered in the tomb of Amenhotep II (KV 35).

The image on the right shows the top of Siptah’s sarcophagus. He assumed his reign when he was around 10 years old and died at the age of 16.
